Construction Project Accountant
Location: Marietta, GA
Salary: Up to $80,000 plus incentives

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Project Accountant to join our dynamic team in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience with Vista by Viewpoint and Procore, and a strong background in construction accounting. This role is pivotal in managing financial aspects of our construction projects and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Accounting: Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, job cost reports, and other project-specific financial reports.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the invoicing process, including processing and approving invoices, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to financial goals.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- System Utilization: Utilize Vista by Viewpoint and Procore for financial management and reporting, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate financial operations and resolve any issues.
- Audits: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction accounting, with proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint and Procore.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
