Job Qualifications and Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this Project Manager position will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6)
- Strong knowledge of building codes, contract law, and OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
- Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to stakeholders
- Negotiating contracts and change orders with vendors and subcontractors
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
