Construction Safety Manager Needed to Lead by Example!

In this essential role, you’ll be at the forefront of building not just structures but a culture of safety. Your expertise will reduce risks, train teams, and foster accountability from the ground up.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Construction Safety Manager:
- Safety Compliance: Stay ahead of local, state, and federal regulations to ensure all safety policies are followed effectively.
- Site Inspections: Conduct frequent inspections to identify potential hazards and enforce safety standards on active job sites.
- Training & Development: Lead engaging safety training sessions for new hires and existing employees, ensuring best practices are always in place.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, training sessions, and incidents, and prepare clear safety reports for leadership.
- PPE Management: Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) across all job sites.
- Collaborative Communication: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and teams to promote proactive safety practices and encourage accountability.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience:
- 4 years of documented safety inspection experience and a high school diploma, OR
- 2 years of experience with an associate’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Completion of OSHA 30-hour training.
- Ongoing Learning: At least 8 hours of safety training annually over the past 5 years.
- Problem-Solver Mindset: Sharp analytical skills to identify risks and implement practical safety solutions.
- Excellent Communicator: Ability to engage teams, foster collaboration, and build trust around safety practices.
