Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that construction projects are executed effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
Ensure that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
Monitor and enforce all safety regulations and protocols
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and completed in a timely manner
Review and approve all change orders, requests for information, and other project-related documents
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Thorough knowledge of construction techniques, methods, and materials
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
