Sparks Group, in collaboration with a Fortune 500 consulting firm, is searching for a skilled Contract Manager to provide on-site guidance and ensure compliance for complex projects. Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site contract management advice to business units and project teams.
- Initiate, track, and monitor contract changes, deliverables, and risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
- Identify and mitigate contract risks and issues.
- Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, and modifications.
- Consult with and escalate contractual issues to leadership as needed.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and legal departments.
- Develop and implement contract management tools and processes.
- Provide training to contract management or program personnel.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 7+ years of contract management experience in federal government contracting.
- Strong understanding of US federal contracting principles.
- Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred qualifications: advanced degree, VAARS familiarity, and specialized subject matter expertise.
- This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
