Controls Systems CAD Designer - Pick your work location! WA, AK, MT, CO orUT

This is a drafter position in our control systems and instrumentation group. The position requires a capacity to learn technical material, perform basic CAD drafting, ability to work independently with guidance, and strong communication skills in written, spoken, and personal formats.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

· Creates, modifies and works with 2D drawings in the AutoCAD 2010 (or newer) software

· Uses basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools

· Organizes drawing objects on layers

· Uses reusable symbols (blocks)

· Prepares a layout to be plotted

· Performs assigned work within a given budget and schedule

· Performs basic drafting support as directed by lead designers and/or engineers

· Performs quality checks on own work

· Performs work with moderate supervision and guidance
