Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversee timely completion of payments, including accounts payable, receivables, and bank deposits.
- Review, manage, and forecast quarterly and annual budgets for all departments.
- Conduct detailed cost and profit analysis, offering insights for growth opportunities.
- Set, monitor, and track financial KPIs to guide business performance.
- Build and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate financial decisions and investments.
- Generate regular financial reports and provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making.
- Perform internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain a highly organized and up-to-date filing system for financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Controller or in a similar high-level accounting role.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and relevant legislation (GAAP).
- Expertise in managing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Strong background in cash management, financial forecasting, and risk assessment.
- Proficient with accounting software and financial management tools.
- High attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
