In this role, you will assist the CFO in overseeing all financial operations, providing leadership to the Finance Department, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will be integral in managing budgets, financial statements, and audits while supervising key financial processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the CFO to lead the Finance Department, supervising accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in presenting to the Finance Committee.
Develop and oversee operating budgets for the organization and specific programs.
Ensure budgetary compliance and assist in preparing grant and funder reports.
Monitor internal accounting controls and recommend improvements.
Oversee payroll processing and collaborate with the HR Director on payroll management.
Assist with annual audit preparations and work directly with auditors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Minimum of two years of experience in accounting management, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting
Demonstrated experience with fund accounting, budgeting, and grants management
Proven ability to supervise financial processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with all staff
