Role Description:
Join our leadership team to enhance financial governance, reporting, and control. As Controller, you will guide the financial direction of the business. We seek a strategic thinker with over 7 years of managerial accounting and financial management experience, ideally in a fast-paced global environment, especially within the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial reports to the business leadership and Group Finance.
- Maintain accounting records in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assist senior leadership in financial planning and results management, identifying key revenue and cost drivers.
- Manage cash flow, banking, and treasury matters.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with auditors.
- Manage the finance team, ensuring effective governance and reporting.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings with federal, state, and local authorities.
- Work closely with internal departments and overseas offices, as well as with external stakeholders, including tax advisors.
- Support the Group Finance team in completing annual audits.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- CPA preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong financial accounting experience, with expertise in group consolidation.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Ability to work within a global environment, ideally with an international line manager.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
