Vaco Boston has partnered with our client that is seeking a Controller
They are looking for a strong leader that can make an impact in this role
Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership on all financial and operational management including budgeting and accounting.
Establishes and improves internal control systems.
Leads preparation of financial statements and operating reports ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP.
Oversees processing of transactions and accounting data ensuring legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions
Works with external audit team.
Manages annual audit.
Responsible for monthly reporting to leadership.
Assesses organizational performance against budgets with management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MBA and CPA preferred
5-10 years of experience as a Controller.
Supervisory experience
4+ direct reports.
Strong cost accounting skills
Strong leadership skills
Verbal/written communication skills

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
