Controller - Strategic Employment

A renown hotel in the heart of Northampton is hiring for a Controller to join their team. This is a key hire that will assume management of 1-2 direct reports and own the entire accounting process for the hotel. Candidates should feel comfortable in driving the complete lifecycle of the accounting process including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. 

Required: 

• Prior exposure to the hospitality or food and beverage industries
• 5+ years of professional experience in a finance or accounting related role
• Strong understanding and adherence to GAAP 
• Experience with an ERP tool or hospitality specific software such as Opera or HIA

Nice to have:

• CPA or progress toward
• Prior experience working in public accounting
