Controller / Office Manager Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience: Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and inspire a small team.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent Communication: Both written and verbal, to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in all financial and administrative tasks.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive and resourceful in addressing challenges.
Controller / Office Manager Duties
- Manage Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, prepare financial forecasts, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Office Management: Supervise administrative staff, manage office supplies and resources, and ensure a smooth-running office environment.
- Support Business Growth: Partner with senior management to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for senior management.
