Job Details
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper/controller with experience managing and processing payroll, invoicing, and payment transactions
- Experience preparing accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders at an executive or investor level
- Fluency with ERP systems and accounting software tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Gusto, and Bill.com for efficient financial management
- Prior experience with power and utilities and fixed assets accounting
- The ideal candidate will be familiar with power plant operations, including regular purchase orders and procurement of supplies and materials as well as property tax filings and regulatory compliance
