In this role you will work alongside executive leadership and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape and driving operational excellence. This role will significantly contribute to driving efficiencies, optimizing business processes and policies, and leading team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Monthly Close: Take charge of the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Prepare Financial Statements: Craft detailed financial statements that reflect the true financial health of the company.
Manage and Inspire: Lead and mentor a talented team of 3, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve exceptional results.
Enhance Policies and Procedures: Establish and refine accounting policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and compliance.
Oversee Inventory Operations: Manage and optimize inventory operations to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and alignment with financial goals.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance: A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Equivalent: CPA certification is preferred.
8+ Years of Relevant Experience: Proven experience in financial reporting, month-end close processes, and inventory management.
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with a track record of fostering collaboration and achieving results.
Proficiency in Accounting Software: Expertise in using accounting software and tools, with a preference for experience in ERP systems.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
