The Controls Engineer will:

·        Design & Develop:Create and implement control programs for advanced electrical machinery and systems.

·        Collaborate:Work with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate controls into overall system designs.

·        Test & Validate:Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure optimal performance of control systems.

·        Optimize:Develop, visualize, and refine PLC processes to ensure maximum system efficiency.

·        Diagnose & Maintain:Identify faults and perform necessary maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.

·        Train:Educate internal and external customers on the proper use and maintenance of PLC systems.

·        Support:Provide top-notch customer service and technical support to both internal and external clients.

·        Project Manage:Adhere to project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful completion.

·        Travel:Visit customer facilities to install, maintain, and upgrade software and hardware as needed, up to 25%.

A qualified Controls Engineer will have:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:At least 2 years of experience in automated controls engineering.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Studio 5000, RS Logix 500, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Specialized Knowledge:Strong understanding of ladder logic, electrical schematics, and mechanical systems.
• Expertise:Familiarity with Motion and Safety-Over-Ethernet.
