• Read, understand and perform instructions from the Job Ticket and set up or direct the setup of the press based on instructions.

• Notify Converting Packaging Lead when instructions are unclear and verifies all components are available and appropriate for current job.

• Make necessary adjustments to job ticket specs.

• Obtain sign offs from Converting  Packaging Lead or Production Supervisor prior to producing a job.

• Ensure production orders are run in an accurate, time efficient manner to comply with priority needs.

• Maintain open communication with Converting Packaging Lead and necessary departments to ensure proper processing of production order.

• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment.

• Notify Converting Packaging Lead of any substandard equipment or nonconformities.

• Log all press-related times/footage into MIS.

• Perform and document necessary quality inspection(s). 

Overtime Authorization and Requirement - Unauthorized approval in advance of working overtime and repeated refusal to work overtime are violations of company policy. 

• High school diploma/equivalent

• Six months to a year of related experience and/or training
