If you think you'd be a great addition to the team, please apply!Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision offered after qualification periodEmployee discounts at Hilton Hotels worldwide401k with match offered after qualification periodReferral bonus program - $200/referred employee after 30 days of employment, some restrictions applyWashington State Paid Sick LeaveVacation time accrued based on hours workedFree parkingOvertime paid for holidays worked. 10 holidays per yearEssential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to):Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed Federal, State, and Local standardsEnsure organized and clean storage areas for all foodEnsure that all food items are properly handled, and stored at the end of the shiftProperly rotate inventory (FIRST IN - FIRST OUT)Prepare food per specifications for lunch, dinner, and banquetsPre-prep and store food for the restaurant and banquetsMaintain clean and orderly storage areas and proper product parsClean your workstation "as-you-go" and leave it stocked and cleanWork with the supervisor/manager to create specials to provide additional menu variety and use up available foodMaintain control over food security through regular inventories, proper portioning, and correct lock up procedures and production methods Job Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cookingMust be able to communicate clearly to restaurant servers, managers, and other culinary personnelAbility to follow recipes and menu specificsAbility to reach, bend and frequently lift up-to 45 pounds
