Coord, Field Resources - Gray West

Gray West Construction is currently seeking a Field Resource Coordinator to join our team in our Sacramento, CA office.

Maintains and organizes inventory of client products, warehouse stock, tool check-out process, job start set up and fleet maintenance. Procurement of job related materials. Independently supervises 8,000 SQ commercial warehouse and yard.

Responsibilities:

Maintains warehouse inventory and ensures material protection during storage/staging

Create and maintain tool inventory and check out/tracking process.

Procure job-start materials as needed

Create weekly manpower schedule

Schedule hotel and per diems as needed for out of town projects

Assist with scheduling equipment delivery and pulling Job start materials.

Assist in maintaining our fleet, managing the service records, and scheduling rentals trucks

Assist with daily vehicle inspections and transport trucks to mechanic

Assist field supervisor with dispatching of material for nightly work orders

Assist field supervisor with identifying returned material from nightly work orders/projects

Experience driving commercial vehicles including box truck and stake bed.

Experience operating a forklift and loading/unloading commercial/ freight vehicles

Transport materials and light equipment to and from project sites.

Respond to after-hours facility and job related issues.

Responsible for overall organization and cleanliness of the property

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise 1 to 3 warehouse employees to maintain productivity and efficiency.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent; and/or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and write in English. Ability to respond to common inquiries or issues, office and field personnel. Ability to effectively present information to employees, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Bilingual a plus

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have basic business mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only a limited standardization exists. Independent problem solver and solution finder. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or other forms.
Operation of Motor Vehicles
Must possess a valid CA Motor Vehicle (Driver's) Class C License in good standing.

Must hold forklift certification and be a competent forklift operator.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently in a warehouse office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word-processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
