Position Summary

The Coordinator acts as leader and project manager to execute and support complex cultural transformation projects pertaining to people, culture and experience as they follow ECU Health's Mission and Values. Supports the Sr. Consultant for Inclusion & Belonging and other leaders by providing strategic direction for system-wide inclusive leadership and talent initiatives and ensure that all initiatives are designed to enhance the human experience for all team members, patients and community members. This role will help manage and execute a System cultural transformation strategy and will support through project and program development and execution with an emphasis on delivering trainings and experiences that create and nurture a culture of inclusion, belonging, psychological safety, and high performance.

The Coordinator will cultivate, and leverage relationships with leaders, providers, learners, and team members across the system, assisting them throughout the talent lifecycle with overall culture, team dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and retention.

The position will support business units and other stakeholders in creating and sustaining inclusive cultures and behaviors to drive business results and performance.

Reporting to the Senior Consultant for Inclusion & Belonging, this position will provide strategic insight to heighten the demonstrated value for inclusion, belonging, equity and cultural humility throughout the organization

Minimum Requirements

Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in public health, public policy, public administration, social work, education, business, social justice, ethics, or a closely related field is required.

Experience providing professional-level program or administrative support to management, preferably in a healthcare setting directly related to this assignment is required.

2 -3 years of experience that includes inclusion & belonging project/process management, stakeholder engagement, and/or organizational leadership is required.

Must have strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and awareness of, as well as commitment to, contemporary issues of equity, inclusion and access is required.

Experience in public process methods and conflict resolution is required.

Experience working on behalf of diverse populations to dismantle barriers to equity and inclusion is required.

Valid driver's license with good driving record is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Relevant public administration experience

Experience in the creation, facilitation, and presentation of intercultural training programs

Experience in employing effective problem solving and leadership skills to bring about transformation change in an organization
