About the Job
Responsibilities:
* Monitor system inventory screens to research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Cycle counting, bin audits, line side storage audits.
* Respond to business partner requests for assistance by physically checking on-hand inventory and compare to system.
* Research discrepant inventory and physically search for lost/misplaced inventory.
* Use RF device to perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
* Document corrective actions taken and communicate results with team supervisor.
* Communicate issues affecting inventory with direct team, supervisor, and business partners.
* Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Identify system and physical discrepancies with inventory and with team supervisor direction provide guidance on appropriate corrections to business partners.
* Provide support as needed with cycle counting audits, bin audits, line side storage audits.
* Other duties/ projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
* Education - High School diploma required.
* Analytical skills and experience required.
* 1-2 years' inventory control experience in Manufacturing, Wholesale, Distribution and Warehouse, Direct Marketing or Retail industry experience is required. Working in food environment preferred.
* Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications, including Excel required.
* Previous warehouse management system knowledge required, and relevant inventory systems experience preferred.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* 1-2 years' forklift and/or reach lift experience preferred.
