About the Job
The Laboratory Manager of the Core Lab will directly report to the Laboratory Director to provide internal and external leadership to the management of the Laboratory. This position has the responsibility of a departmental laboratory manager. It is directly responsible for Laboratory Services that include the Clinical Laboratory areas of Chemistry, Hematology, and Core Lab services. This position is responsible for developing and coordinating the Safety program for the department, providing program recommendations, overall technical and regulatory oversight from external organizations to the other department managers/supervisors who are responsible for providing laboratory testing outside laboratory areas.

- Bachelor's degree in medical technology from an accredited medical technology program, or professional training programs offered through either the military service of the United States or the military service of the state which may, where applicable, be accepted by the NYS Education Department for licensing purposes as equivalent education and training in lieu of all or part of an approved program.
- Core Lab Experience is required!
- STRONG Management experience! We are looking for someone to come in and roll up their sleeves and be a part of the growth of the team!
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- At least six years of laboratory experience is required (NYSDOH supervisor qualified)
- Three years of supervisory or managerial experience in Core Lab
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP/NCA)
