Position Overview
The Assistant Controller plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. This role involves supporting the financial oversight, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulations.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Budget Management: Support the development and management of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Audit and Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures; assist in internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial processes and systems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience
- Proven Knowledge of GAAP, Cost, and International Accounting
- Working knowledge and exposure to multi-state taxation
- Ability to carry on the federal tax side for partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Compensation
- $85,000 to $95,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
