Job Title: Corporate Communications Manager (3-Month Contract)
Location: Columbus HQ, Hybrid (Work from Home Two Days a Week)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Corporate Communications Manager to join our team on a 3-month contract. This role is ideal for a skilled storyteller and writer who thrives on crafting engaging internal communications and driving corporate messaging strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and activate internal messaging aligned with our mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to support organizational goals, employee engagement, and alignment with company values.
- Craft crisis communications as needed and maintain all internal communication platforms, including intranet sites, TV signage, and email platforms.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand communication needs, adapt messaging for different audiences, and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Support special projects related to corporate communications, including philanthropy and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience also considered.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably with experience in aviation, change management, or related fields.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to adapt quickly and communicate clearly under tight deadlines.
- Experience managing communications channels and analyzing metrics to gauge communication effectiveness.
- Proven ability to work with and influence all levels of leadership, maintain a high level of professionalism, and advocate for company culture and values.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, intranet management, and email platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive communications with tact and professionalism.
- Experience with event planning and employee engagement initiatives.
Salary
30 - 35 /hour
