Job Summary:
The Global Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing the global financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role includes managing the consolidation of financial results, leading global accounting teams, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Oversees the general accounting function, which includes intercompany accounting, cash management and reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Manage the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Establish and lead a highly efficient global month-end closing and reporting process that ensures accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish and maintain an effective financial reporting framework that provides transparent financial results from both management and statutory perspectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a global internal control framework for financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Manage debt compliance reporting to lenders.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of any audit findings.
- Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Lead the implementation of robust risk management and internal controls across all global entities.
- Oversee compliance with financial regulations and handle all tax-related inquiries or audits.
- Partner with the CFO to develop and execute global financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making, focusing on areas such as operational efficiency, cost-saving opportunities, and capital expenditure decisions.
- Oversee global cash management, treasury functions, and foreign exchange risk management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally on major company initiatives and strategically provide value-added financial analysis and support of business reviews and decisions from the financial perspective, including but not limited to, operational efficiency, cost saving opportunities, capital expenditure decisions, vendor selection and negotiation, etc.
- Identify and implement best practices in global financial operations, ensuring alignment with company performance management system: SR5- scorecards, ROI’s and quarterly 5/15’s.
- Evaluate existing financial systems and processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for global financial processes, including the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to support business operations.
Work Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building, developing, and managing lean, high-performing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a global accounting function, including experience as a Corporate Controller in a $300M+ multinational organization.
- Advanced skills in Excel and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
- Prior experience with international operations and exposure to M&A processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, IFRS principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
