Corporate Counsel - EagleView

EagleView® is a leading provider of aerial imagery, property insights and software that transforms the way people work. EagleView holds more than 300 patents and owns a large geospatial data and imagery library encompassing 94 percent of the US population. EagleView provides the most accurate data, enabling customers in the government, construction, solar and insurance industries to make timely, informed and better decisions. 

EagleView is seeking an outstanding corporate attorney with 5-8 years of experience in (including, but not limited to) technology/SaaS/DaaS transactions, IP licensing, commercial contracts, AI, and regulatory compliance. This role will report to the General Counsel.

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including integration agreements, tech licenses, data usage agreements and commercial contracts.
• Work with product, sales, finance, and other legal team members to structure and draft product-specific terms to be incorporated into standard commercial templates, terms of use, and product policies.
• Help build and participate in scalable and effective processes for legal review and launch of new products.
• Partner closely with product development and product management teams to provide practical, action-oriented legal advice for all phases of the product development life cycle, including IP, cyber, competition, regulatory and privacy related legal risks.
• Identify, assess, and communicate the rapidly evolving global AI, cyber and privacy regulatory requirements and trends, drive implementations with product teams.
• Work with product and sales teams to ensure contractual compliance with various contractual obligations, partnerships and other legal requirements.
• Support various other legal department functions and responsibilities as needed, such as draft, review and negotiate procurement and IT-related agreements, engage in dispute resolution and support and respond to compliance and due diligence inquiries.

• 5-8 years’ experience - primarily advising technology companies, either at a law firm or in-house, preferably both.
• JD and membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating contracts; comfort navigating through ambiguous legal issues.
• Breadth of knowledge across many legal practice areas, including advertising, marketing regulations, consumer protection, AI/ML, data privacy and protection, IP, ecommerce, litigation and dispute resolution, and competition law.
• Ability to produce clear and succinct written legal analysis and business communications, and to counsel and manage clients, including senior management.
• Possess the highest standard of ethics and a positive attitude; willingness to pick up new knowledge and skills.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed. This is a remote, full-time position with a salary range of $114,000 - $166,000/per year, bonus eligible.
