Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Corporate and Finance Business Manager in the Technology department who will be responsible for overseeing the business operations and strategic initiatives within the Technology division. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, managing budgets, driving process improvements, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of technology trends with the ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
·Develop and implement business strategies that align with the Technology department’s goals and the organization’s overall mission.
·Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the Technology division.
Financial Management:
·Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the Technology department.
·Monitor and control expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
·Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management.
Operational Efficiency:
·Streamline business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
·Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational workflows.
·Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Project Management:
·Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.
·Ensure adherence to the Project Management framework. Train and educate the team as needed.
·Coordinate with various stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
·Assist project team in identifying risks, issues and path to green scenarios.
·Lead project review processes, including ROIs and After-Action Review.
Team Leadership:
·Provide leadership and direction to the CFT team.
·Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
·Guide team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
·Be an advocate for the team, highlighting accomplishments and communicating successes.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
·Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
·Act as a liaison between the Technology department and other business units.
·Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and support for Technology initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
·5+ years of experience in business management within a technology-driven organization.
·Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
·Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery. Large-scale Finance project delivery a plus.
·Strong leadership and team management abilities.
·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
·Experience with technology product development and lifecycle management.
·Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
·Proficiency in relevant business software and tools.
