Responsibilities:This position will be a key team member with the following responsibilities:
1. General oversight of Revenue and Reporting team.
2. Working with Revenue Cycle, Business Office, and Local Hospital Teams in analyzing and monitoring the valuation of patient accounts receivables and credit balances for all hospitals and physician groups.
3. Coordination and collaboration with Managed Care team to price claim sets based on contracts and model financial impact of contract proposals/changes.
4. Development, enhancement, and continuous standardization of the AR valuation models and process, assuring proper controls are in place to accurately estimate AR.
5. Develop training materials on AR estimates for local CFOs and Controllers.
6. Review net patient revenue estimates on a monthly basis across all hospitals, in conjunction with patient AR.
7. Oversight with regards to the patient revenue portion of the annual financial audit.
8. Communicate opportunities for improvement in internal collection efforts.
9. Review and prepare executive presentations to summarize results of findings from the team.
10. Review with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosures, with respect to patient revenue related items.
11. Identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting.
12. Provide quantitative and analytical support to the Corporate Finance team, with respect to patient revenue related items.
13. Develop and coach revenue and reporting team.
14. Other related duties and ad hoc projects, as needed.

Qualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting.
2. Ten or more (10+) years of combined revenue cycle analytical experience with hospital systems or in a public accounting setting auditing hospital systems.
3. Excellent communication skills and an attitude to challenge the status quo.
4. Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare financial statements and models.
5. Advanced proficiency in Windows Office software and ERP systems (i.e. Lawson, Meditech)
6. Superb Excel and basic SQL skills (v-lookups, sumif, sumproduct, indirect, etc.), PowerBI a plus
7. Some travel required to local hospital sites.
8. Certified Public Accountant
Preferred qualifications:
1. Public accounting (audit) experience, 10Q/K reporting experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP –Highly Preferred

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $128,003.20 to $210,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
