What You Will Do
We are seeking a results-driven financial Controller to oversee our corporate finance operations. You will manage the monthly close and global consolidation process for a multinational manufacturing company, collaborating with a dedicated team across the organization. A key responsibility is the timely issuance of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Additionally, you will partner with IT and other stakeholders to ensure efficient systems are in place and functioning optimally.
As Controller, you'll maximize financial asset returns by developing and implementing robust accounting and financial policies, procedures, and controls. You will ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements while providing leadership to the accounting team and supporting senior management. This role thrives in a dynamic global matrix environment.
To ensure success as a Corporate Controller, you should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial management principles and extensive experience in a similar role. A first-class corporate controller will be someone whose expertise translates into optimized financial operations and increased profitability.

In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the monthly consolidation process and preparation of GAAP statements.
- Maintain consistency and improve closing and reporting cycles.
- Guide financial decisions by developing and monitoring policies and procedures.
- Ensure financial controls are current and being adhered to.
- Analyze and interpret balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and liabilities to senior leadership.
- Manage the annual GAAP audits with external auditors.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and reports, as well as review journal entries and ensure account reconciliations are timely performed.
- Manage local accounting staff including the services received from a shared services environment.
- Continiously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting function.
- Leverage the new instance of a Cloud ERP system to deliver technological advancements.
- Required Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business.
- Preferred Degree: Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
- Required Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Years of Experience: 8-10 years.
