Purpose and Scope:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing monetary, accounting, clerical (accounts receivable and accounts payable), and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to the company's accounting unit.
- Makes Journal Entries.
- Analyzes and reconciles accounts.
- Prepares financials - Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow reports.
- Maintain fixed assets and leased assets records.
- Performs banking functions.
- Monitors all accounts.
- Tracks reimbursable expenses.
- Assists supervisor (and/or CPA).
- Assists with audits.
- All other duties as required.
Skills/Other
- Knowledgeable, tactful and confidential communicator with vendors, clients and internal staff.
- Analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Able to multi-task.
- Able to work independently.
- SAGE 500 software experience, preferred.
Education/ Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and spreadsheets.
- Experience with SAGE 500 or Dynamics 365 is preferred.
- Construction industry experience is preferred.

Hourly Pay: $38.00 - $41.00 depending on experience
