About the Job
Perfect full-time contractor role for someone with a recent journalism degree and 1-2 years of writing experience. Opportunity to work as part of a large team, and learn corporate communications, storytelling, photojournalism and visual literacy from a high performing, collaborative communications team.
Writer will work with our Story Studio team of writers, handling story assignments:
interviewing internal and external subject matter experts
drafting compelling corporate stories, sidebars and listicles
proofreading stories and other content to meet AP Style and company standards
collaborating to create story ideas
working with photographers and designers
updating editorial calendar
Requirements:
Four-year degree in Journalism and/or Communications
1-2 years of writing experience with good writing samples
Working knowledge of AP Style
Creative and flexible thinker, ideally with storytelling experience
Ability to work with a wide range of people across the globe.
