Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Corporate Strategy Manager in Chicago, IL or Lake Forest, IL. The work will be done onsite three days a week. The rest will be work-from-home. This is a permanent position with our customer. Compensation is up to $160K/yr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay.

We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Strategy Manager to join our Corporate Strategy team within a leading industrial supply company. This role will focus on driving core strategic initiatives that support the companys long-term goals and competitive positioning in the industrial distribution and supply chain sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy development, customer segmentation, and market analysis, working collaboratively across various departments to ensure successful execution of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of core corporate strategies, including in-depth customer segmentation and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to align strategies with business goals and optimize overall business performance.
- Conduct industry research and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges in the industrial supply chain sector.
- Develop business analysis reports and strategic recommendations for senior management, with a focus on actionable insights that drive operational improvements.
- Manage and oversee strategic projects from concept to execution, ensuring they are delivered on-time and within scope.
- Continuously assess and improve strategy processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business analysis, or a similar role within the industrial, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading strategic projects.
- Knowledge of the industrial supply industry, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
