Corporate Transactional Associate
About Us: Gpac has partnered with a local firm dedicated to advocating for workers’ rights and championing fair labor practices. Our team of experienced attorneys is committed to providing vigorous representation to Corporate Transactional Associate in pursuit of justice and equitable treatment. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Corporate Transactional Associate to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: The Corporate Transactional Associate will play a key role in our mission to provide innovative solutions to complex challenges. They will work on various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate governance matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate transactional work. Healthcare experience is not required but is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Advise clients on general corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents, including purchase, shareholder, and operating agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Virginia.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate transactional law.
