My client, a growing and dynamic global manufacturing company, is seeking a Cost Accountant. Great work life balance, benefits including 401k match, and supportive culture. PTO is 4 weeks to start. Onsite in Jackson, TN. Flexible schedule. The salary is up to $100,000 DOE. Permanent direct hire. Hiring now. Must have manufacturing cost experience.

Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant:

• Perform cost accounting including supporting inventory reduction and cost savings initiatives and business case scenario modeling and cost-benefit comparatives (insource/outsource, footprint optimization, indirect savings, etc.) in support of margin expansion.
• Participate in month-end close processes for plants including journal entry preparation and support development, accrual evaluation, and inventory capitalization processes.
• Prepare assigned account reconciliations.
• Provide support for external audit requests and present findings to management.
• Execute analysis for new product launches, product cost changes, and other initiatives with the Operations team.

Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:

• Manufacturing cost experience is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Jackson TN M-F.
