A manufacturer in Ventura is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team! The Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost reporting, creating new and streamlining current processes, standard costing, work order processing, allocations, analysis, and reconciling inventory. To be successful in this role, the Cost Accountant will need to be proactive, able to work in a team, and solutions oriented. Does this sound like you or someone you know? What do you need for this Cost Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of cost accounting experience
- Must have manufacturing, CPG, or related industry experience
- Advanced Excel
- Support manager with work order processing
- Prepare inventory reconciliations
- Cost allocations
- Analyze standard costing reports
- Analyze inventory costs
- Monitor KPIs
- Assist with system implementations
- Maintain and analyze work order performance and analyze profitability
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
