We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimator. As a Construction Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to accurately estimate the costs associated with construction projects. If you have a strong analytical mindset, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Cost Estimator
Responsibilities:
- Input estimating data into the system for easy accessibility by all team members.
- Generate purchase orders (POs) as the company operates based on POs.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Utilize knowledge of construction industry practices to provide accurate cost estimates.
- Conduct material and quantity take-offs to support cost estimation processes (a bonus).
- Utilize AP (Accounts Payable) experience to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
- Familiarity with the Marks System (a bonus) to facilitate effective cost estimation.
- Maintain a positive and engaging attitude, demonstrating a bubbly personality.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, making it easy for colleagues to communicate and collaborate with you.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by actively participating in team discussions and sharing insights.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of conducting take-offs (material and quantity estimation) is a bonus.
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
- Familiarity with the Marks System is a bonus.
- Possess a friendly and approachable personality, making it easy for others to engage with you.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
*****60-70K, 401K 5% match, Health, Dental, Vision, Vehicle and cell allowance. PTO 2-3 weeks
