Credential Coordinator
CREDENTIALING EXPERIENCE Required
ONSITE REQUIRED IN DENVER
Part Time at 20 hours weekly
Monday - Friday business hours required (4 hours at 5 days a week or 6 hours at 3 days a week)
Onsite Required at Mountain Ridge/HCA, DENVER COLORADO

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Credentials Coordinator is responsible for performing diversified support duties of considerable responsibility under minimal supervision for the Department Director and/or the Medical Staff.
What qualifications you will need:
- Certification preferred (CPCS or CPMSM). If not certified, actively pursuing certification upon eligibility.
- Prefer Associate Degree in Medical Staff Services Science, business or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing, basic Medical Staff organizational structure, and regulatory agency requirements.
- PC skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and under pressure. Excellent phone and public relations skills, ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with all levels of personnel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
