About the Job
The Credit Analyst I will manage an assigned portfolio of Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc (SRNA) Tire customers. This role involves resolving discrepancies and deductions within accounts, collecting overdue balances, managing order releases and holds as necessary, initiating credit and debit requests, and reconciling accounts receivable with customer records. Additionally, the analyst will actively contribute to the annual credit reviews of their assigned customers and collaborate closely with other departments while reporting to the Credit Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a business-to-business trade credit role or as a senior accounts receivables specialist with collection responsibilities.
- Proficiency in comprehending order, billing, and shipment processes within a high-volume setting.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong consideration given to candidates with National Association of Credit Management certification (CBA, CBF, CCE) or equivalent experience in credit, accounts receivables, and collections.
- A fundamental understanding of the cash-to-order process, especially in a large volume context.
- Proven track record of effectively reconciling customer accounts.
- Knowledgeable in accounts receivables management and the process of collecting past due payments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel formulas, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with familiarity in Oracle ERP or similar systems like SAP. Experience with reporting software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of the principles of financial ratio analysis and its practical application.
- Ability to stand, sit, move, and use fingers for extended periods. May involve walking primarily on a level surface, reaching above shoulder heights, and below the waist, as well as lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typical of an office setting with controlled air temperatures maintained at mild levels.
Three to Five (3-5) years of experience as a credit analyst in a business-to-business trade credit position, or as a senior account’s receivables specialist with collection responsibility. Must be able to understand the order, billing, and shipment processes in a high-volume setting. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking or related field preferred. National Association of Credit Management certification program (CBA, CBF, CCE), or equivalent credit, accounts receivables, and collection experience strongly considered. Basic understanding of the cash to order process in large volume situation. Demonstrated history of customer account reconciliation. Knowledge of accounts receivables management and past due collections. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as knowledge of Oracle ERP, or similar ERP system such as SAP. Knowledge of reporting software a plus. Basic knowledge of foundations of financial ratio analysis and application. Must have advanced Excel skills. Must be able to stand, sit, move and use fingers for extended periods of time.
