About the Job
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Clinical Services Crisis Center Director to lead the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services at a Crisis Center located in Dothan, AL. This role involves overseeing the temporary and extended observation units, ensuring effective crisis intervention, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Your salary will start at $70,000 per year and you will be working a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm schedule with some overtime and on-call work to meet program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily operations of behavioral health services, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective care.
Manage and support a team of professionals, fostering a positive work environment and providing ongoing clinical supervision.
Serve as a liaison with community agencies and stakeholders, promoting our services and developing new programs.
Ensure adherence to budgetary and regulatory standards, reporting any deficiencies to leadership.
Provide direct clinical services and respond to crisis situations as needed.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, psychiatric nursing, or related field.
Minimum of three years in management/supervisory roles; six months post-master’s clinical experience required.
Substance abuse counselor certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Strong leadership, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
