Cryptologic Computer Scientist Level 3
We are actively searching for Cryptologic Computer Scientists, located in Maryland, to support our team. We have varying levels of Cryptologic Computer Scientist roles, depending on years of experience and education.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist with experience in system administration and engineering to manage an air-gapped training network for cyber exercises. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in RedHat, Ansible, and Linux. Responsibilities include maintaining and securing the training network, ensuring optimal performance during cyber exercises, and collaborating with the team to support and enhance training activities.
Responsibilities Include:
The Cryptologic Computer Scientist will be able to Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience
- Associates degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
- Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), simulation/model development, designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) computation science, algorithm analysis and design, reverse engineering, and/or designing/developing computer and information systems, including engineering hardware and/or software.
Salary Range: $180,000-$210,000
