SUMMARY
Provides labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation Department, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Maintain organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. Carry out day-to-day plant care including watering, pruning, harvesting and trimming. Monitor and maintain plant production and quality control measures in accordance all Local and State regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

- Provide plant care throughout the cycle of the grow including:
- Cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, plant maintenance, plant transportation, waste disposal and assisting in inventory management
- Ensure plant health by pruning, toping, trimming, analyzing plant health for pest and disease according to Company policy, as well as any other tasks required
- Maintain all cultivation facility protocols in an efficient and timely manner
- Manage cannabis plants, giving each individual plant the attention it needs while transplanting, pruning and feeding with oversight from the department leads and managers
- Facility Cleaning
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean, sanitary and safe cultivation facility
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of all cultivation equipment, surfaces and tools.
- Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of molds, mildews, and pests
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Reports and Documentation
- Assist the Cultivation Leads and Managers with tracking plants from propagation to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities
- Ensure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable information
- Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and injury free work-zone.

JOB SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with a commercial cannabis, agricultural, or landscaping facility/company preferred
- Advanced knowledge of the cannabis plant ideal but not necessary, though a strong agricultural background is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of large-scale commercial cultivation
- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi
- Knowledge of different cultivars and their specific needs
- Ability to execute techniques consistently
- Good documentation, inventory, and organization skills
- Excellent time management skills.
- Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and injury free work-zone.
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail
WORK CONTEXT
Physical Requirements
- Requires prolonged walking and standing and some bending, reaching, stooping and stretching
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift, carry and balance up to 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance)
- Ability to proficiently operate a computer and other office equipment
Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed inside a climate-controlled cultivation facility and outside
- Work is subject to weather conditions, including rain and hot or cold temperatures
- Involves frequent contact with varied levels of personnel, including vendors, visitors and staff
- Will require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings weekends, holidays, and special events
- May eventually include working an alternative workweek
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing/laborer experience preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
- Experience working with cannabis cultivation and/or commercial agriculture and/or health industry highly desirable
- Experience following a health and safety compliance program
- A valid driver’s license and be insurable; continuing education will be required to maintain certifications and licenses
- At least a minimum of 21 years old and pass a criminal background check
CERTIFICATIONS OR LICENSES REQUIRED
- Current cannabis agent license
