Customer Service Representative - Waste Connections

About the Job
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join the team at our Hauling site in Alexandria, LA.
+ The schedule is Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.
+ Pay Range: $17-18/hr. depending on experience.
+ On top of competitive pay, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, vacation, and year-round work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes & demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
+ Assist customers by phone and in person to receive orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in service.
+ Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records and issues discontinuance orders.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ 2- years of Customer Service experience in a high call volume atmosphere
+ Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Email _preferred_ . Typing and 10-key skills are required
+ Excellent organization and communication skills
+ Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
