This is a full-time position that pays a competitive hourly wage. Obtaining your insurance license within the first 6 months will be required. Responsibilities
As the Customer Service Representative, you will be working directly with the office manager to build strong relationships with existing clients and manage all contact information for the agency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provides great customer service to assigned policyholders.
- Aids in preparing annual review appointments for Agent.
- Reviews cancellation and renewal lists on a weekly basis to ensure a high level of retention and profitability. Makes calls, emails and sends letter when appropriate on cancellations and renewal changes.
- Sets up a minimum of 8 appointments per week between new and existing clients.
- Keeps policy and database information up to date.
- Coordinates thank you/welcome letter for new households.
- Processes customer payments and understands Farmers billing systems.
- Manages accord forms for personal and business customers.
Requirements
As a Customer Service Representative, you will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful. Qualifications include:
- Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills
- Self starter with a strong sense of urgency and initiative to get things done
- Being an ambitious individual motivated by opportunity for advancement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships from a cold' start.
- Prior insurance experience preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or GED is required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
- Career minded applicants desired.
