KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Specialist, Revenue Cycle in Newark, Ca.
A Brief Overview:
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, the customer service representative answers telephone and email inquiries, sorts mail, filing, retrieves documents as needed, maintains supplies for the department, backup for invoice entry, and vendor statement reconciliation. Performs additional related tasks as required.
What you will do:
• Answers telephone calls and emails and provides information such as invoice status, check information and additional Accounts Payable inquiries.
• Routes or directs telephone calls that require information not available to customer service staff to appropriate areas. Ensures that follow-up is provided for all inquires.
• Assists Accounts Payable Department with vendor statement reconciliations.
• Ensures all invoices are date stamped with the date received by the Accounts Payable Department and is appropriately sorted for processing on a daily basis.
• Ensures that all invoices requiring approval are entered into the system for recording.
• Ensures that customer needs are met, follow-up occurs for all requests and questions are responded to promptly and quality assurance processes are maintained.
• Maintains supplies for the department.
• Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Service Standards of the Hospital(s).
• Scans invoices that require approvals to the appropriate folders on a daily basis.
• Sorts mail, files, and retrieves documents as needed.
Education Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to answer moderately complex questions, direct calls, and obtain information from several sources
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to establish positive, customer oriented working relationships with a variety of professional, technical and non-technical staff and clients
• Knowledge of accounts payable terminology
• Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area

Compensation is DOE and pays between $30-36/hr.
