Job Location: Lathrop, California
Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Do you have great customer service work experience along with tech support skills? We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to fill a seasonal position. You will assist with studying technical applications, ensuring proper operations, and supporting users to maximize system capabilities.

- Field incoming help requests from end users via phone, work orders, and help desk.
- Build rapport and gather detailed information on issues from help desk customers.
- Record and track the problem-solving process, documenting actions taken from start to final resolution.
- Use diagnostic tools and utilities to troubleshoot issues.
- Access software updates, drivers, and knowledge bases to resolve problems.
- Learn and support appropriate software and hardware systems.
- Perform hands-on fixes, including software installations and system configuration.
- Test fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Follow up post-resolution to ensure the solution is universal.
- Perform other duties consistent with the scope of the position.

Experience Required:
- Broad understanding of computer hardware.
- Proven experience with desktop operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Experience with software maintenance and testing.
- Strong multitasking capabilities.
- Willingness to develop technical support skills.
