Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working with the commercial team to support processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Update and maintain sales data and information within the appropriate software systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences in a timely manner through effective communication and responsiveness for customers, both internal and external.
- Contribute to the development of the ordering process to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Develop basic product knowledge and a strong understanding of the shipping requirements by building a strong relationship with shipping and logistics.
- Follow the procedures set down in the SOP s for accurate and timely entry of all orders.
- Work as part of a team and adopt a flexible approach to increase and maintain the quality of service.
- Undertakes relevant project work and additional responsibilities as appropriate and agreed with the Head of Customer Services.
- Previous experience within a customer service role with proven ability to prioritize effectively.
- Previous experience working within the life science industry highly desirable, but not required.
- Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in a cross-functional, cross-country team environment.
- Experience working with a customer relationship management system desirable.
