Position is in-office located in Augusta, Maine - Temp to Permanent opportunity.
Schedule: Sunday 10a-5p, Monday - Thursday 8a-5p
Pay rate: $17.50-$19/hr
We are looking for someone with demonstrable customer centric attitude and professional demeanor.
Must be proficient in MS Office suite – Outlook, Word & especially Excel in a SharePoint environment.
Position Purpose: A Customer Service Associate at Performance Foodservice is vital to the success of our Company.
As a part of the sales support team, this position is the first point of contact for all customers that have questions about their order, our products or about Performance Foodservice.
They act as a liaison between the customer and the Sales Account Representative as well as internal departments. They are a member of the Customer Service team that functions within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Attend training and Customer Service meetings. Processing orders & transactions Answering questions about products and services Troubleshoot and resolve problems Support Sales in all aspects Provides information to other departments based on customer feedback Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications : High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6 - 12 months customer service, call center and / or related area, Customer Centric attitude with professional demeanor, must be proficient in MS Office suite – Outlook, Word & especially Excel
