Job Description:
As a US Drawback Data Analyst, you will examine, process, and manage drawback claims to ensure compliance with US customs regulations. You will analyze extensive data sets, identify eligible duties, taxes, and fees for refund, and generate detailed reports. Responsible for working with IT on the ERP Data Extraction, Mapping and Solutioning data gaps. Working in partnership with the Drawback provider to address and find solutions across workstreams and Supply Chain and Drive Recordkeeping automation. Strong proficiency in data analysis, knowledge of US Customs regulations, and excellent attention to detail are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data management tools and have a background in international trade or supply chain logistics.
Job Family Definition:
Responsible for data analytics, coordinating across key partners (IT, SC, Logistics) to support Drawback opportunities. Partner with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement to effectively manage costs, integrate new and existing businesses, and adapt to business and regulatory environment changes.
- Prior experience in data analysis and/or customs duty drawback processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the data analytics supporting the US Drawback Operation,.
- Strategically working with a broad range of complex supply chain processes, which may include import/export operations, typically for large or complex global business unit.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement, develops recommendations, and converts recommendations into compelling new business plans.
- Creates new operational efficiencies and process improvements
- Oversees the development and delivery of complex initiatives that can impact the supply chain globally, typically requiring the leadership of cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
- Analyze data from ERP and other internal HPE systems to identify duty drawback opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for data gathering
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Generate detailed, actionable reports based on data analysis.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
- Experience in more than one supply chain function.
- Broker's license and/or 10+ years of experience in a customs/global trade function.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
- Experience in international trade or supply chain management.

- Identifies and creates superior analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions.
- Advanced communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.

- Superior project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies that impact the organization.
- Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
- Extensive Understanding of the company's overall business strategy.
- Excellent leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management.
- Advanced understanding in developing and managing a trade compliance program.
