The Cyber Security Engineer I provides support to monitor and ensure compliance with information security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assists with the identification, reporting and auditing, reporting of security risks.
Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
+ Cyber security briefing and documentation
+ Application and evaluation of DISA STIGs for supported IT
+ Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) Administration
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Standard office equipment and material.
Working Environment:
+ Normal office environment
+ May require support during periods of non-traditional working hours including nights or weekends.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift/push/pull 40 lbs. unassisted.
Qualifications
Clearance Requirement:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance.
Education / Certifications:
+ High School Diploma / GED
+ CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
+ Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator OR Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) Certification
Experience / Skills:
+ 1+ yrs. experience performing cybersecurity services, including in the following areas:
+ + Knowledge and experience communicating Cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
+ Ability to develop technical documents and produce system design documentation.
+ 3 yrs. experience operating and administering HBSS.
+ Knowledge in application and evaluation of DISA STIGs for supported IT.
+ 3 yrs. experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF).
+ 3 yrs. experience with Continuous Monitoring Risk Score (CMRS).
