Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking highly qualified DATE/Force Structure Analyst to provide professional services and support to the TRADOC Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2) Operational Environment (OE) and Core Functions. The Operational Environment (OE) is a composite of the conditions, circumstances, and influences that affect the employment of military forces and bear on the decisions of the unit commander. As an organic, complex system, the OE provides the common framework in which warfighting programs and strategies are conceived, defined, and executed. It is a living foundation in which choices made, by adversary and allies alike, affect the outcome of the future which must be accounted for. As adversary’s asymmetrical approach to warfare continues to generate greater complexity and flexibility, the government’s requirement for similar complexity and adaptability in Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) escalates correspondingly.
TRADOC Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2)’s mission is to understand, visualize, describe, deliver & assess the OE in order to reduce risk and prevent surprise; today and into the future 2035+. TRADOC G-2 is the designated Lead for Core Function #13 Operational Environment; the process of developing, verifying, validating, accrediting, and providing OE products and services represents an authoritative, validated OE contextual baseline for TRADOC users and operational forces in the areas of training and training development; education; leader development; concept and doctrine development; and capabilities development, integration, and evaluation.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provide review, analysis, and recommendations for the integration of the OE and its critical variables into training, education, and LD events.
Provide management and technical expertise to create complex, regionally focused decisive action training environments (DATE) to support Army institutional and operational training and readiness.
Conduct analysis of current and emerging security issues and threats to regional stability.
Conduct research in order to identify trends at the regional level and ensure the appropriate concepts, capabilities, and technologies have been identified and incorporated to enhance theater and regional storylines.
Conduct research to understand real world administrative force structures and orders of battle and generate recommendations for inclusion into DATE World.
Develop written and graphical products, analyze Operational Environment products, brief solutions and work with other members of the Environment development team to deliver scenario products.
Support information sharing and bridge building with a network of key constituents in academia, the U.S. Government, and non-governmental organizations.
Provide expertise to support the design and execution of seminars, conferences, exercises and/or staff training events to support environment development.
Develop project deliverables to include such things as: Operational Environment assessments; Analysis Plans, Data Collection Management Plans, Scenarios, Databases, Initial Insight Reports/Briefings, Final Study Reports, Training Plans, and Programs of Instruction (POIs).
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or academic experience related to Intelligence and /or research and analysis.
Understands the Decisive Action Training Environment and exercise design
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and must possess the ability to communicate effectively with USG customers, executive and senior leadership, and support management staff.
Must have excellent presentation skills, with an ability to design, develop and deliver high-quality deliverables created through collaboration.
Must have experience in conducting research projects and writing assessments
Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI).
Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience.
Clearance: Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI).

Travel: Some travel is required.
