- 1 year as an assistant store leader

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree- Assist stores in the achievement of providing a favorable customer shopping experience, ensuring implementation and compliance of front-end policies, procedures, and best practices through the effective coaching, teaching, and training of associates
- Serve as the district subject matter expert for front-end, AML applications and solutions
- Conduct daily store visits, focusing on front-end customer service, best practices, identifying opportunities and defining processes for improvement
- Monitor front-end cash shortages by identifying opportunities and implementing processes and training for improvement
- Monitor front-end metrics related to Friendly, wait time, SCO utilization and items per minute
- Monitor weekly schedules for optimal front-end operations and Customer Service coverage
- Assist in the installation, training, and use of all front-end technology systems, equipment and/or work methods.
- Ensure store compliance with federal, state, local laws, and with policy and adherence to standards for the Front-end departments (i.e., alcohol, tobacco, WIC, SNAP, AML, etc.)
- Work with stores in the promotion of safety and support for the achievement of a zero-accident safety culture
- Identify training talent and stores within the district as well as evaluating Front-end department team strengths and opportunities
- Partner with district human resources leader to ensure the effective use of approved training programs, assist in the training of store associates
- Provide feedback to district managers, and store leaders on the strengths and developmental opportunities of associates in the Front-end departments and ensure training of new department managers
